The Story

You are Niko Bellic, an illegal immigrant arriving in Liberty City. Your cousin Roman is stuck with gambling debts. Your lives are in jeopardy and you are forced to work for several criminal factions in the city. Coming from a military background, you use your skills to kill and steal. It is dirty work but it has to be done in order to survive.

Playing the Game

There are several missions to complete in the game. They will vary from kidnapping, killing, and bank heists, to name a few. You can rush through the game and finish the basic missions in twenty four hours but if you want to relish the game and finish all the side missions then you could easily spend more than seventy two hours on the game.

Life-like Characters

The characters in the game are brought to life with detailed texture mapping, crisp voice work, and expressive animation. The cut scenes will immerse you into the story and make you feel like you were really part of it. Sometimes you'll have to take some friends out to a bowling game, take a girl out on a date, or simply get drunk with someone at a bar.

The Sandbox

In a sandbox-type of game, you can do almost anything you want. Your sandbox is your playground. You can steal cars, go shopping, and pick up girls at a nearby bar. The virtual world of Grand Theft Auto IV is absolutely limitless.

Multiplayer

You can play with people from all over the world in your sandbox or theirs. Complete tasks together, get into a fight, or simply enjoy a chat in one of the virtual strip clubs. Everyone can join in the action in Grand Theft Auto IV's multiplayer mode.
